My help comes from the Lord!

What a lovely friday. I was dropping kids to school and run a little errands in the mal. Came back home in flat 1.5 hours time. (so proud of myself)
Usually it takes a little longer for me to do this and that outside home.

Today i am fired up for challenges. Last night i filed all challenges that i want to join for this week and following week. After i got home, i whipped 2 cards. 1 is for today post and the other one is for tomorrow post. So please come back and check my other creation tomorrow!

This card that i will be posting later on is for two challenges that i would like to join. One is for Clean and simple 128 with its elegantly simple sketch. Here is the sketch:

Am also using a colour combo to compliment that sketch above. It is a colour combo that i got from Just add ink Challenge 57 and here is the combo:

To be honest i don't have any river rock. Not the CS, not the inkpad...none!!
Except....the marker. Luckily i have got the marker so i can still go ahead using the colours.
What i did is coloured my sponge using the brush tip on river rock marker and then sponged label 4 nesti with it. I am using SAB set for the flower and sentiments coloured with river rock marker.
Also...i did a faux stitch on daffodil CS (the break lines) Just to add a splash of river rock into my card. Here goes the card....

and the inside...

The Scripture saying is verve stamp using river rock and cherry cobbler. The saying are very lifting and I fell in love with verve stamp because of all the little scripture they have got in their online store. Again i have sponged label 4 nesti with river rock to get similar look with the front card. I am definitely keeping it clean and simple.

Please shout out to me if you need detailed info on supplies used. Enjoy ur friday night and come back tomorrow for another card i made today.

  3. This is lovely, Jeane. I like the soft, subtle main panel against the bold Cherry Cobbler background. You did really well with this colour challenge, with only a marker in River Rock!
