More Masculine Card

Howdy....It's beautiful sunday here in Sydney. We had sunshine with patch of clouds now and then but overall it's beautiful day. I reckon it will be shower later in the evening. Hoping that y'all have a blessed Sunday as well!

I will be sharing with you 2 more masculine cards that i made over this weekend. I will be entering both of them into these challenges:

1. Wee Memories Challenge #64 (Masculine)

2. CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #16 (Embossing)

First up is "Hey Buddy". I was using Quickutz embossing folder on Crumb Cake Cardstock(SU!). Stamped (with Tuxedo Black-Memento) and coloured (With SU! marker) the Aeroplane and banner + sentiments from "Fly Away" sets (PTI)

Second Card is "You're a Classic Dad". This one is prepared for Father's Day on September for us here in Australia. Stamped the classic car from "The Journey" Sets using Vintage Photo Distress Ink (Tim Holtz) on Very Vanilla CS(SU!). Embossed with Square Lattice (SU!) and sponged the edges with Vintage Photo. Layer that on Soft Suede DSP(SU!). 'Dad' was cut using "Timeless Type Junior Alphabet" Medium sizzlits die(SU!). 'You're a Classic' was stamped using Soft Suede and "Calendar Alphabet & Numbers" set (SU!) and of course with the help of Stamp-a-majig.

Masculine Card

Hey there beautiful people...I am so happy that i gradually getting better and better. It's not a complete recovery as yet but i'm getting there. The good thing is i can craft without the distraction of a runny nose.(LOL)

Today i am going to share you a card that i made for these challenges:

1. Lawnscaping Challenge #16 (one Layer)

2. Wee Memories #64 (Masculine)

Looking ahead to september, i do need some masculine cards especially for my fab hubby. We are going to have Father's Day here in Australia. Great timing to create some masculine cards, don't you think so?

Here is my take on a 'one layer' 'masculine' card using the colour from 'PDCC colour challenge'. I've used Early Espresso, So Safron and Not Quite Navy to represent colours given by PDCC. Too bad the link already closed. I was too late to enter the challenge. Anyway...

I did masking technique for this card. I made couple of mess but hopefully i did good job in covering my mess.
