Sweet Star

It has been a while for me to do any challenges. Life has been busy in my household and i think my brain is shrinking. I tend to forget things very easily nowadays. Many...many times i made something but then i totally forgot either to upload it, link it or you know... all that jazz to enter any challenges. By the time i remember the submissions time are closed. The good thing about challenges is you have some sort of guidance of what to create. There are just some days you sit in front of your craft table and just lost with where to start,etc.

 Anyway... I am glad to be able to play again with challenges and hopefully i can do this often.

okidok...let's talk about the card that i got here. This card will be playing at the Color Throwdown #130. This week they got us a beautiful colour combo. Very sweet combos and the first thing that came to my mind is baby girl shower. So here are the colours that we got to play with:

Also i will be linking this card to join in the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #35. Their Sketch challenge will compliment my chosen theme for my card. (a baby girl shower card)

I would like to keep it very simple but want layers as well. so....ta-da

I wished that i got bigger stars to play with but unfortunately that is the biggest star that i've got. ahahaha....
Those buttons are cut from a cardstock and pierced to make it look like a button with a touch of diamond glaze. (uhmmm...maybe it is not really showing in the pic)

also i stamped couple of stars on top as a background.

isn't that sentiments adding the "star fever" we got going on here...

Oh...you know me. I don't like to make my inside card just blank. Just a simple congratulations with a nice bow of ribbon. here goes...
