Another Hand Letter Design that I want to share with y'all
This one using lyrics from a song called "LIFE" by Hillsong United from Wonder Album.

I love how the design turned out but I am not entirely happy with the colouring.
My pen has ran out on me and I have to use black colouring pencil which not the best
option for this one.

Hope you enjoy this and catch ya later...

DIY for Teachers

Hello...hello...

I'm back again with another DIY. Got the idea from my blog hopping and so in love with the awesome idea/suggestion.

The end of the year for school + Summer Holiday + Christmas Holiday is almost here. I would love to come up/find something that is useful, personalised, adorable and won't cost me too much. I need to prepare 4 for 4 excellent teachers in my kids primary school.

This amazing idea found at the right time for me.
Kids also had fun when they helped me in making this gorgeous pressies.
Btw...I stick ferrero rocher in the middle of the flowers just before we give it away to each teacher.(the rocher is not in the picture)

The pencils are very useful for teachers as they sometimes bought class supplies from their own pocket. It is very personalised and using a recycled can and incorporating papercraft as well! Love it!!

Hope you enjoy and be inspired!

Celebrate Today and Everyday

It is right to celebrate every single days and not taking anything for granted.
This card reflects as a reminder for me to enjoy every day and always have a positive outlook on every encounter that I experienced day in and day out.
Just like i did in my previous card (Celebrate This Life)... love the way the leaves and the butterfly sort of  like come to life / popping out from the white space. I saw somewhere (cant remember) this awesome and clever technique. Just need to showcase it again....

Enjoy my card and see you next time...

Big Hugs,

Learning to dance in the Rain

Happy Weekend, everyone!

I've been busy since early morning. First up was my Son's soccer game and their team won 3-2. He scored 1 goal by the way...(Well done, Son!). After that came home for half hour and off i went to a luncheon organized by my Connect Group Leader. Husband and son went to my hubby soccer practice. Went home to have shower and off we went to a friend's house for dinner. What a full day....

Anyway...i whipped a card last night to join in Card Patterns sketch 164 challenge but unfortunately i was late in submission. Should have upload it last night but too tired after a night out and totally forgot. So..my card is using their sketch no 164.
I hope that the quote that i used in my card is meet the requirement of a Rainy Day challenge.

Here is my card with a great encouragement quote:
"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, It's about learning to dance in the rain"

Supplies used:
All Stampin' Up!
Other: Verve Stamps (Blue Skies), Lace bought at spotlight.

Thanks for looking...

Thinking of You

Aaahhh....Finally...Sunshine all day long. Well it's only on the weekend we had this wet and windy weather but it feels like forever.

Took kids to see Smurf Live Show at the Mall today. Too bad the show only went for half hour. Wish for longer show so i can have longer relaxing me time. This is only 2nd day of term 3 break but i had enough of the "Mum, I'm bored!", "Mum..can i do this and that, etc"
And....got 2 full weeks to go??? Aarrrgghhh....!!

Today i got to create 1 card. It is good to have lil' creative time to keep my sanity.(LOL!)
It is spring in Australia but i am entering my card to challenges and one of them is having an Autumn Leaves theme.

I did a Gold embossing on the leaves and cut them. Here is a closer look of it.

Entering this to:
2. CardPatterns Challenge 134 (I am using the sketch from this challenge for my card )

Supplies:
Stamp: French Foliage, Woodgrain (SU!); Sentiment from Blessings Set (Verve)
CS: Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Crumb Cake (SU!)
Other: Gold Embossing Powder, Dimensionals, Pinking Heart Border Punch (All SU!), Versamark

Have a great day...

Hi there beautiful people....
are you enjoying your day so far? i do....and hope that you do as well.

I Just want to share a card for September CCC Challenge over at Lily Pad Cards. This card is following the sketch for the September CCC Challenge sketch here:
This CCC challenge is a card exchange with a twist challenge. Not only that you created a card following the colour/sketch/themes provided but you'll also be sending your creation to whoever person that entered the challenge right before you and so on.
It is fun, inspiring and you can meet and exchange creation with different people from around the world with one common trait ...a love/passion for papercrafting/cardmaking.

Anyway...Everyone is special in their own way and that is what inspired my card here. To send a message that you're special, friend.
Here is my take on the sketch and hope whoever will receive this card will like it!
