Birthday Card for a dear friend

hi there and happy holiday for all of you.

This Easter holiday...we will not be going anywhere and planning to stay in Sydney. We have got lots of Easter celebration to attend to as well but basically this is the longest easter long weekend that i can remember. It starts from today (Good Friday) up until Tuesday. Wednesday will resume as per normal but the kids will not be going back to school until Thursday.

So today...right after church, we went straight home and just chill out not worry about anything else....
Lucky me i have got some time to create today.

I am going to share one of the card that i made for my friend in Indonesia. Here is the card that i came up with

My Card Front

Closer look of the embossing on sentiments and butterfly

The Inside Look of it. Stamped the same butterfly in Not Quite Navy. The sentiments also in the same colour
CS: Not Quite Navy, Whisper White (SU!); Inkpad: Not Quite navy (SU!), Versamark; Stamp Sets: Studio Style (PTI), Beautiful You (Verve), Fast & Fabulous (Level 2Hostess SU!), Strength&Hope(SU!); Others: Embossing Folder "Framed Tulips", Pearls, Scallop Trim Border (all SU!)

I will be entering this card as well for a couple of challenges:
"EMBOSS IT"
I have used both dry embossing using new Framed Tulips embossing folder from SU!. I have also embossed the sentiments and butterfly using Watermark and silver embossing powder.
2. Case Study Challenge #36
Our amazing Muse for April is Silke Ledlow. I am inspired by her card and applies the flower theme with butterfly to replace the bird that Silke used in her card. I love the way she used the pearls in one corner of circle so i did adapt that to my card as well. I have also used Pearls for the butterfly antennae. Here is Silke's Card for our inspiration:

3. Color Throwdown #138
Here is the Colour that we got to play with.
We can choose the other colour that we like and think match with navy and white. I Choose SILVER to accompany the navy and white combo. I think navy and silver are a classic choice.
Hope you like my card and have a nice long weekend,
